Because online training shouldn’t mean training alone.

About NJ Beauty Academy
NJ Beauty Academy is the dedicated online training division of Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education, founded by Nadia Jennings, an experienced beauty professional and qualified educator.
Building on the experience, knowledge and high standards of training established through Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education, NJ Beauty Academy brings professional beauty education to students through flexible online learning.
Our aim is to deliver high quality, accessible training that allows students to develop their knowledge, practical skills and confidence while studying at their own pace.
We believe online students deserve genuine support, professional guidance and encouragement throughout their learning journey.
Our courses are developed with professional industry standards in mind. Courses that have successfully completed the relevant approval process may be advertised as ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) accredited, providing independent recognition of the approved training.
As the online division of Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education, we are committed to maintaining the same high standards of education, professionalism and student support across both our online and in-person training.
Nadia Jennings is the Academy Owner and Training Director, responsible for course delivery, student support, assessments and educational standards.
Administrative support is provided by the academy team.

Student Enrolment Policy
NJ Beauty Academy welcomes beginners, existing beauty professionals and individuals wishing to develop new skills.
- Students must generally be aged 16 or over, subject to individual course requirements, safeguarding arrangements and applicable insurance conditions.
- Some foundation courses are suitable for complete beginners.
- Advanced courses may require previous qualifications or practical experience.
- Any prerequisites will be clearly displayed before enrolment.
- Students must provide accurate enrolment information and any requested evidence of previous qualifications.
- The academy reserves the right to decline enrolment where a student does not meet the necessary course entry requirements, subject to applicable law.
Entry requirements may differ between online courses offered through NJ Beauty Academy and in-person courses delivered through Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education.
Students should check whether their intended qualification or training is suitable for their personal or professional goals before purchasing.
3
Online Learning & Course Access
Our courses are designed to offer flexible learning without unnecessary pressure.
- Students can study at their own pace.
- Purchased course materials are available without a fixed completion deadline unless otherwise stated.
- Students receive ongoing access to their purchased courses while the academy continues to operate and provide those courses through its learning platform.
- Course content may include written lessons, demonstrations, learning activities, practical exercises and assessments.
- Students are responsible for ensuring they have suitable internet access and a compatible device.
NJ Beauty Academy provides online learning as part of the wider Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education training business, through its own dedicated online learning platform.
We may update learning materials when techniques, products, safety guidance or professional standards change.
If a course is discontinued or the academy closes, students will receive reasonable advance notice where possible, with their statutory consumer rights unaffected.
4
Teaching & Student Support Policy
All teaching, course-related guidance and assessments are overseen by Nadia Jennings, who is also responsible for educational standards within Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education.
Support is included in the course fee and may cover:
- Understanding lessons and course content.
- Guidance with course-related practical techniques.
- Clarification of assessment requirements.
- Assessment feedback and improvement advice.
- Questions directly relating to the purchased course.
- Help with navigating the learning process.
Our main official contact method is email.
Response times
We aim to reply within 48 hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Responses may occasionally take longer during busy periods, holidays or illness.
Course-related email support is included. It does not include unrestricted private tuition, live demonstrations on demand or teaching subjects outside the purchased course.
5
Additional Training & Support
Students who would benefit from additional personal tuition may choose to purchase:
- A 30 minute private Zoom support session.
- A 60 minute private Zoom session, which may include a student demonstration.
- Additional in-person 1-to-1 practical training at Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education in Doncaster, where suitable and available.
These services are optional, subject to availability and charged separately at the prices displayed when booking.
Students are not required to purchase additional tuition to receive the standard course support or assessment feedback included in their course fees.
6
Assessment & Certification Policy
Our priority is ensuring students develop the knowledge, confidence and practical ability required for their chosen course.
Assessment requirements are explained within each course.
Depending on the course, students may need to complete:
- Knowledge assessments.
- Written assignments or questions.
- Case studies.
- Photographic or video evidence.
- Practical demonstrations.
- Other assessments required by the course or accrediting organisation.
Lesson practice activities and reflective exercises are learning activities, not formal assessments, unless expressly identified as assessed work.
Students must successfully complete all compulsory assessments before receiving certification.
Where assessments do not meet the required standard, students will receive constructive feedback and an opportunity to improve or resubmit their work.
Resubmissions are supported without an additional standard assessment fee, subject to any requirements imposed by the relevant accrediting organisation and the academy’s fair assessment procedures.
Certificates are awarded based on demonstrated competence, not simply purchasing a course or completing the learning materials.
Certificates will identify the appropriate training provider and accreditation details applicable to the course.
The type of certificate and any accreditation attached to it will be clearly stated in the individual course description.
ABT accreditation will only be advertised once confirmed for the specific course and delivery format.
7
Academic Integrity & Authentic Evidence
Students must submit their own original work.
- Assessment answers must reflect the student’s own knowledge.
- Photographs and videos submitted as practical evidence must show the student’s genuine work.
- Students must not submit another person’s evidence as their own.
- Artificial intelligence or other assistance must not be used to misrepresent knowledge or practical competence.
- Students must not falsify case studies, client information or practical results.
Concerns about authenticity will be investigated fairly. Students will have an opportunity to explain or respond before a final decision is made.
8
Practical Training, Models & Safety
Students must work safely and follow the relevant course instructions.
Where practical evidence is required:
- Appropriate hygiene and infection prevention procedures must be followed.
- Suitable products, equipment and protective measures must be used.
- Models must give informed consent.
- Model privacy, dignity and safety must be respected.
- Relevant contraindications, treatment limitations and aftercare must be understood.
- Students must comply with any legal, insurance and course-specific requirements for practical activities.
Students must not perform treatments on themselves or others where doing so would be unsafe, unlawful or outside their competence.
Practical treatments involving risks must only be undertaken where suitable supervision, permissions and insurance arrangements are in place.
Where additional supervised practical training is required or requested, suitable sessions may be arranged through Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education, subject to availability, course requirements and any additional fees.
9
Accreditation, Qualifications & Insurance
NJ Beauty Academy is committed to providing professionally recognised beauty education.
NJ Beauty Academy operates as the dedicated online training division of Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education.
ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) accreditation
Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education provides ABT accredited in-person training courses.
NJ Beauty Academy is developing its online course provision through the relevant ABT accreditation process.
Where a course has received formal ABT approval for online delivery, it will be clearly identified as ABT accredited within its individual course description.
ABT accreditation provides independent recognition of an approved training course. However, accreditation held for an in-person course does not automatically extend to its online equivalent.
Students should understand:
- Course accreditation is not the same as a nationally regulated qualification.
- A certificate does not automatically provide professional insurance.
- Students must obtain appropriate insurance before carrying out treatments professionally.
- Individual insurers may impose additional conditions relating to age, previous qualifications, training method, treatments or practical experience.
- Students must comply with applicable local authority requirements and relevant legislation.
- The accreditation status of each course will be clearly displayed before enrolment.
NJ Beauty Academy and Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education do not guarantee that every student will qualify for a particular insurer’s cover or employment opportunity.
10
Course Fees & Payment Policy
Course prices will be clearly displayed before purchase.
The advertised NJ Beauty Academy course fee includes:
- Access to the purchased online course.
- Learning materials included with that course.
- Required standard assessment and feedback.
- Course-related email guidance and support.
- The standard digital certificate following successful completion, where included in the advertised course package.
Optional Zoom sessions, in-person training through Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education, physical kits or other additional services are not included unless expressly stated.
Payment must be completed through an approved payment method.
Payments for NJ Beauty Academy courses are made to the business operating the academy, with the relevant payment information displayed at checkout.
Any instalment or payment plan arrangements will be explained separately before a student agrees to them.
11
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We want students to feel confident when purchasing a course.
For online purchases, statutory consumer cancellation rights apply.
Consumers normally have a 14 day cancellation period for contracts purchased online, subject to the applicable rules for digital content and services.
Where students request immediate access to digital course materials during the cancellation period, we will obtain the required express consent and acknowledgement concerning any loss of cancellation rights before supplying that digital content.
Where applicable legal requirements have been met and digital content supply has begun, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right for that digital content may be lost.
Where the necessary consent, acknowledgement or other legal conditions have not been met, students retain the cancellation or refund rights provided by law.
Different cancellation provisions may apply to optional live Zoom tuition, in-person training through Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education or mixed course packages, and these will be communicated at booking.
Nothing in this policy removes students’ statutory rights where digital content or services are faulty, not as described or not provided with the legally required standard of care.
Refund enquiries should be sent to the academy’s official support email.
Eligible refunds will be processed within the time required by applicable consumer law.
12
Complaints Policy
We aim to provide a positive, professional and supportive learning experience.
If a student is unhappy with any part of their training, we encourage them to contact the academy by email.
Our complaints procedure is:
- The student submits their concern, including relevant details.
- The academy acknowledges the complaint, normally within 5 working days.
- Nadia or an appropriate academy representative reviews the concern fairly.
- We aim to provide a full response within 15 working days.
- Where additional investigation is needed, the student will be informed.
Complaints will be handled respectfully and confidentially as far as reasonably possible.
Making a genuine complaint will not negatively affect a student’s assessment.
Where a complaint concerns additional practical training delivered through Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education, the relevant arrangements will be included in the review.
Students retain any applicable legal rights or rights to seek independent assistance.
13
Assessment Appeals Policy
Students have the right to question an assessment decision if they believe an error or unfair process has occurred.
An appeal should normally be submitted within 14 calendar days of receiving the decision, although reasonable late appeals may be considered.
Students should explain the reason for the appeal and provide any relevant supporting information.
The academy will review the original assessment, evidence, feedback and assessment criteria.
Where possible, an appeal will be reviewed by someone other than the original assessor. If this is not possible internally, an independent qualified reviewer will be considered where appropriate.
Students will receive a written outcome explaining the decision.
Any appeal procedures required by the relevant accrediting organisation will also be followed where applicable.
14
Equality, Diversity & Reasonable Adjustments
NJ Beauty Academy and Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education are committed to treating students fairly and respectfully.
We welcome learners from different backgrounds and do not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment or victimisation.
Students who require additional learning support or reasonable adjustments are encouraged to contact us.
Where appropriate, adjustments may include accessible formats, additional explanation, alternative evidence arrangements or flexibility in assessment procedures.
Adjustments must not compromise essential competence, professional safety or mandatory assessment standards.
Requests will be considered individually and confidentially.
15
Safeguarding & Student Welfare
NJ Beauty Academy is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
Where students are under 18 or may be at risk, additional safeguarding considerations apply.
The academy will:
- Promote respectful professional boundaries.
- Respond appropriately to welfare concerns.
- Protect sensitive student information.
- Avoid inappropriate private contact.
- Escalate safeguarding concerns where necessary and lawful.
- Make suitable arrangements for any in-person training involving under-18s.
Nadia Jennings will act as the initial safeguarding contact until a separate responsible person is appointed.
Safeguarding arrangements apply to online learning through NJ Beauty Academy and any additional in-person training delivered through Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education.
A safeguarding concern should be reported by email, or directly to emergency services where someone is in immediate danger.
16
NJ Hub Community Guidelines
The NJ Hub is intended to be a welcoming, encouraging and professional student community.
Students are encouraged to ask questions, share progress, celebrate achievements and support one another.
All members must:
- Treat others respectfully.
- Avoid bullying, harassment or discrimination.
- Respect the privacy of students, clients and models.
- Obtain permission before posting identifiable client or model images.
- Avoid sharing misleading or unsafe professional advice.
- Avoid unauthorised advertising, spam or inappropriate content.
- Keep paid academy materials private.
- Follow moderator instructions.
The academy may remove inappropriate material or restrict access where reasonably necessary, following a fair process where appropriate.
17
Course Materials & Copyright
All NJ Beauty Academy and Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education manuals, training videos, lesson materials, assessments, branding and original resources remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
Purchased materials are provided for the enrolled student’s personal educational use.
Students may not reproduce, resell, distribute, upload publicly or share paid course materials without written permission.
Course account access is personal and must not be shared with others.
18
Student Information & Privacy
NJ Beauty Academy is the online training division of Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education.
Student information is processed by the business responsible for operating the academy, as identified in the academy’s Privacy Notice.
Personal information may be collected and used for appropriate purposes, including:
- Student registration.
- Course access and administration.
- Payment processing.
- Student communications.

- Providing student support.
- Meeting applicable legal obligations.
Student information will be handled securely and in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.

A separate Privacy Notice will explain the personal data collected, lawful bases for processing, retention periods, recipients, individual rights and how to contact the academy about privacy concerns.
Students will not automatically be subscribed to optional marketing simply because they purchase a course.
19
Confidentiality & Student Evidence
Assessment submissions, case studies and student records will be accessed only by individuals who reasonably need them for educational, administrative or legal purposes.
Students submitting photographs or videos must obtain any necessary permissions and avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
Student work, images, testimonials or success stories will not be published for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
This applies to promotional material used by both NJ Beauty Academy and Deity Aesthetics, Beauty & Education.
20
Technical Issues & Accessibility
Students experiencing difficulty accessing their purchased course should contact the academy support email.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve access problems and provide appropriate assistance.
Planned maintenance, updates or unexpected technical disruptions may occasionally affect platform availability.
Students will be informed of significant disruptions where reasonably possible.
Course materials will be designed to work on suitable modern devices, including mobile phones, while recognising that some practical tasks may be easier on a larger screen.
21
Student Conduct & Account Restrictions
Students are expected to communicate respectfully and comply with academy rules.
Serious or repeated breaches may result in a warning, temporary restriction or suspension of access, where lawful and proportionate.
Where possible, students will have an opportunity to respond before significant action is taken.
Any decision affecting paid course access will take account of contractual obligations and statutory consumer rights.
22
Changes to Courses & Policies
NJ Beauty Academy may update course content, policies and procedures where reasonably necessary to maintain educational standards, safety, legal compliance, accreditation requirements or platform functionality.
Students will be informed of material changes affecting their rights or purchased course provision.
Changes will not unfairly remove contractual benefits already purchased.
